Do you know? I have a great impression on a teacher and she is my form teacher from primary 4 to primary 6. Her name is Miss Tang Pui Yee.
That event that caused me to have a good impression of her happened in the first term of primary 6. At school, I had lots of fun and I was always feeling happy and at that term, I got 68 marks for my mathematics. The reason of having this low marks was because I'm feeling very nervous when I'm doing the test, so I could not concentrate on answering the questions. When I received the test paper, I was afraid and worried about my parents' reactions to my test result. I thought they would be angry of me and would refuse to to sign the test paper, so I approached my form teacher for help. She was kind and patient with a sweet smile on her face. Even someone who had cried would smile upon seeing that smile. I also stop crying when I saw the smile, that's amazing! She told me that in order to be a good girl, I must be honest. Her words lingered my heart. We talked for hours and after which, we bade each other farewell. When I arrived home, I told my parents about the test results. Instead of scolding me, my parents encouraged me and told me not to be scared. They told me that I should try harder next time and they would support me no matter what decisions I made. I felt touched and tears dropped.
Although the teacher no longer teaches me, we still stay in contact. I'm going to visit her on the second day of Chinese New Year. I am very grateful to her. This event will forever be etched in my mind and she will always be my best teacher !
